You’re welcome to Explore here! Just incase you’re wanting to wander around my website about grace, in the following text I’ve imbedded links to every page and post thus far…

WHAT IS THIS? Grace Unpacked contains short articles and media all about the amazing gift of grace.  Here’s the WHY and also, as I write mainly from my own life experience and perspective of the world, here’s the WHO.

By exploring how we can love God, I pray that each of us will really understand that no matter who we are, what we’ve done, or where we find ourselves, He is our true home.  When we invite Him into our lives, Jesus is always with us.

Because of His amazing grace, God fully accepts and loves us, just as we are.  This pure and simple gift of grace is an extraordinary fact that can transform our lives and our eternities.

Maybe it takes other-worldy humility and supernatural wisdom to accept that Jesus died on the cross and rose again so that we can receive life in abundance. This one thing I know: when the saints go marching in, that’s where I want to be.

How might this revelation of God’s intense and demonstrated love for us impact how we love?

For me, ironically perhaps, it means realizing we’ve got to show love to ourselves and be good stewards of the precious life that God has given us.  One way we can do this, for example, choosing wisely what we eat. Another way is keeping check on how we perceive ourselves and our struggles

I confess, though I’m also loving, engaged and well-intentioned, I’m an imperfect mother.  For example, I often get annoyed and occasionally snap over the worst behaviour of my 3 children. Even so, I am determined to continue to be transformed by grace into the likeness of Christ and, in the meantime, to receive everything good God has for me. My conviction is that I am blessed to be a blessing.

And I’m fully confident, that in Christ’s love, each one of us can play our part BOLDLY and by doing so begin to change the world for the better.  Even if, when we do take any action, for example by sponsoring a child, we may have to have faith in that which is unseen and just trust that we are making any difference.

Loving others starts with loving those in our immediate world… Often our biggest challenge is loving others, including those closest to us, unconditionally, despite our disagreements.  I want to understand better how can we unpack God’s grace in our lives to deal with other people, without self-righteousness creeping in, without misconceptions blurring our judgement.

In case you hadn’t noticed ;-) I’m passionate about grace!  So I’m joyously planning to create and inspire around this theme.

If you’d like to be kept updated with occasional emails, it would be a privilege to share a journey with you…

(PS. I’m also getting creative here with the message of hope through a fiction project called Deedwell.  Here are some tasters: A beginning … A sad bit.)
